During my one-year stay in Japan, I decided to begin with Nicolas Le Gall a blog, as we were traveling together. He was in charge of the coding of the website and is still contributing by taking pictures and editing them.
I wanted the visual identity of the blog to be light and joyful, so I animated the logotype and chose as our symbol a cute and friendly sheep. The cup-noodle idea is a French word-play based on instant noodles ("nouilles instantanées") and the fact that pictures are instantaneous (can be called "un instantané" in French, which means snapshot) too. As we were traveling in Asia and notably in Japan where the instant noodles were created, I thought it was a pretty fun and adequate name for our project.
I made the web design quite simple to enhance the pictures, that are the core of our project.
